Keeping Life Real

Mike Gaylor on December 4, 2009

At the risk of over working a worn out phrase, how are you doing at "keeping it real" during this time of year. I'm not sure what that meant or means but one thing is for sure, real is the only way to go. What would life look like if it was being lived in an unreal way. Well, lets let our imaginations run wild. An unreal life might include too much time fighting for parking spaces at the mall or stressing over pleasing everyone on your Christmas list. Whats in a name???

Mike Gaylor on September 29, 2009

Well, the future is always ahead of us, or is it. It is an old saying that those who live in the past have no future. The same can be said of a church. In 2 Corinthians 4:7 we are told that we possess the treasure of Christ within our earthen vessels. Life in the midst of...

Welcome into the world little one

Mike Gaylor on April 16, 2009

Well she's finally here. Our long awaited granddaughter, Lorelai Sara Bryan has arrived. There are moments that life seems to stand still and the arrival of a baby is one of them. A new life seems to remind us all that God an amazing Creator. Even as we see this world quickly falling apart God reminds us all through a new born that what He has created, will live forever. The great question is not how shall we save this world but how shall we prepare for the next. This world is doomed for destruction but Christ died to redeem us...
